On Sunday, February 16, members of the board will be available after church for anyone who has questions or would like to share any thoughts regarding Trinity Fellowship. We want to try to create more opportunities for our church to communicate with leadership. We look forward to sharing in this time with those who are interested.

All women of Trinity Fellowship are welcome to join together at Sweet Tee’s (off Santa Fe and Mur-Len). This event has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 15th from 1-3pm. This is a laid back, come and go event - come by yourself or invite a friend to join you. We hope to see you there!

Trinity has an opportunity to come alongside resettled refugees in more of an on-going, relational way. There are 2 Afghan families that have been resettled right here in our parish in Olathe. If you are interested in finding out more about how to come alongside these families, Dan and Anne Strempke (26442 W 110th Ter
Olathe, KS 66061) will be hosting an information night on February 8th at 6PM. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP below.

Trinity Fellowship will be leasing a new office and meeting space beginning on March 1st in downtown Olathe! In order to have the space ready to move in, we will need to paint all of the rooms (reception area, 3 offices and meeting room) as well as remove wallpaper. We will be hosting a serve day on February 8th from 9AM-3PM (100 E. Park St. Suite 203 Olathe, KS 66061). Lunch and snacks will be provided. Sign up for a time slot below.

This is a great way to serve, build relationships, and engage in cross cultural ministry. Mission Southside is looking for a few more people to be language partners for their Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening classes. You do not need to have any previous experience. Contact Darla Chapman if you are interested. Classes start the week of January 20th.

Starting the week of January 20th, we will be offering book studies on the Deeply Formed Life by Rich Villados. We have multiple days and times available for both men and women. Click these links to sign up:

Small groups will be launching on February 2nd for a 10 week session. Groups will be  focused around engaging spiritual habits centered on the Word of God.  Sign up below!

Join us on Thursday 1/30 at 6:30pm at Hillcrest Covenant Church's chapel for a community prayer service of lament and solidarity. We will cry out to God together for immigrants, refugees and vulnerable populations, sing with hope and remember that we are bearers of the light that shines in the darkness.

In an effort to address the growing problem of chronic absenteeism, we are partnering Santa Fe Trail to welcome kids back after a 3 day weekend. We will provide the donuts if you provide the smiles and fist bumps. This is a great way to be a faithful, loving presence in our community. Join us on January 21st from 7:15-8:20 at SFT.

Mission Adelante (MA) is a remarkable Christian organization in Kansas City that was approved to be an official receiving and resettling agency for refugees sent to our city.  They are in need of items to help resettle a large number of families this month in the KC area (including Olathe). We are collecting brooms, mops, and new or gently used vacuums on 12/15, 12/22 & 12/24. Bring them to church or you can contact Amy Hill who will be arranging delivery of these items to MA. If you would like to help deliver items you can also speak with Amy.

Our Christmas Party will be all things Christmas morning so have your student come in PJs and be prepared for an epic waffle bar! We will also be doing a White Elephant Gift Exchange. Students are asked to bring something from home as a gift. It can be silly or useful but please do not feel the need to buy anything. Make sure the present comes wrapped. 

In addition to the party, we are going to collect donations for our immigrant neighbors. Mission Adelante will be welcoming a surge of refugee families this December and needs help gathering things for their new homes. These families have had to flee danger and are coming to the United States with very little. There is a sign-up genius to help us gather cleaning supplies for them as they start a new chapter in an apartment in the Kansas City area.  Bring any supplies you sign up for to youth group next Wednesday, December 11th.
